Crafted with intention. Built for a lifetime.
Old-World Leathercraft
Every piece is built with the measured pace required for heirloom work.
Every piece begins as a flat hide and becomes something meant to last — cut, stitched, and finished by hand, in the lineage of old-world ateliers.
These bags are made to be carried, repaired, and passed down. Not consumed. Not replaced.
The Farmhouse Atelier
My work takes place in the attic of my 1830s farmhouse — a quiet space shaped by wood, weather, and time. The tools are traditional, the pace is deliberate, the work is disciplined. Every piece carries a bit of this place with it.

More about
the atelier
Appalachian Trading Company is an atelier devoted to heritage leathercraft.
Each piece starts with old‑world methods, full-grain hides, exclusive Italian lambskin, and the kind of care that refuses to be rushed. I create leather goods meant to be carried for years, repaired when needed, and passed down when the time comes — a quiet return to the expectation of true quality.
